We were having a discussion as to why people choose to pay photographers, I honestly can not believe it half the time when someone hands me a cheque at the beginning of our shoot in the sum of some ridiculous amount and it simply is for taking photos.. But then I realize that its a skill, yes, you can take photos, ANYONE can take photos, but, there is only one person who sees things the way I see them. People aren’t paying for me to click a shutter, they are paying me to come up with ideas that they otherwise wouldn’t to make them look awesome. At least, thats what I think they are paying me for…
