*********** MODEL HIGHLIGHT OF THE MONTH***********
Each month I will be choosing, asking questions, and promoting a model.
FFE: What/who inspired you to start site modeling?
SL: My friend Aymee inspired me to start. She used to site model, and I would help her take pictures. She explained everything to me. Then I started to take part, and it just became fun for me!
FFE: How old were you when you started site modeling?
SL: I was 15 years old, and I started August of 2011. In fact, I tried to make an entirely different profile for it. So, you can see the photo when I started out: http://www.facebook.com/StarlaLost
FFE: What are your strengths and weaknesses?
SL: My strengths are: I update often, and my photos are very HQ, I provide photos that can be girly or edgy, and I try to cover all my bases. My weaknesses are: My self shot photos are not the best, when contest come up I am always slow in turning in my photos or don’t at all, but I do try.
FFE: How do you deal with the “fans” and “haters”?
SL: Fans are the best. Every time someone fangirls/fanboys on me I act all cool, collected, but on the inside I’m fangirling, too. As for haters, I haven’t had anyone negatively approach me. The worst thing that has happened is that I updated with a body-paint picture (it was a zombie one), and a few people were calling me slutty. Also that art should only should remain on paper. I was a little frustrated because I love body art, so, I did argue back, but it died down after a day.
FFE: What advice would you give to people who want to get into site modeling?
SL: Make friends in the groups. I’m only close to people in some groups, and in some not at all. I’ve noticed if you are social and likeable to the people in your groups, you can get really big, even if your photo’s aren’t the best.

Star Trek Into Darkness opens Friday, and the second half of Starla Lost’s Star Trek photo shoot will be posted to www.watikalemonnews.com the same day.
We were having a discussion as to why people choose to pay photographers, I honestly can not believe it half the time when someone hands me a cheque at the beginning of our shoot in the sum of some ridiculous amount and it simply is for taking photos.. But then I realize that its a skill, yes, you can take photos, ANYONE can take photos, but, there is only one person who sees things the way I see them. People aren’t paying for me to click a shutter, they are paying me to come up with ideas that they otherwise wouldn’t to make them look awesome. At least, thats what I think they are paying me for…
